COPPA Notice

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act

Last updated: April 1, 2026

For Parents and Guardians

This notice explains how we handle information about children under 13 in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

What Information We Collect About Children

When a parent creates a player profile for a child under 13, we collect only the minimum information required to provide the service:

  • First and last name
  • Date of birth
  • Playing position
  • Assessment scores entered by coaches or parents
  • Training plan and completion data

Parental Consent

We require verifiable parental consent before collecting any personal information from children under 13. The parent or guardian who creates the child's profile provides this consent electronically during account setup.

Parental Rights

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

  • Review all personal information collected about your child
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your child's data at any time
  • Revoke consent and have all data removed within 30 days
  • Refuse further collection or use of your child's information

How We Protect Children's Information

Children's data is protected by the same security measures as all platform data, plus additional restrictions: child profiles are only accessible to the parent who created them and coaches on their registered team. We never use children's data for advertising or share it with third parties beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
